He is survived by: his son Michael Gilliland; his wife Janice Burgess Gilliland of Tullahoma; his son Glen Gilliland Jr; his wife Marcia Gilliland of Tullahoma; his daughter Glenda Stephens (Gwin) of Estill Springs; his siblings, Faye Burks (Jimmy), Gwynne Gilbert, Joyce Dye, Donna McKee (Roger) and Kenneth Tankersley (Linda); his grandchildren, Josh, Casie, Jason, Tim, Tiffany and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Atticus, Courtney, Logan, Chris, Addy, Brooklyn and Brentlee; and also, Lorene Miles, Robert Miles and Chip Gilliland (Regina) of Manchester. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle.
In lieu of flowers, Coach Gilliland had requested that donations in his memory be made to the Tullahoma youth sports program of your choice.
