He is survived by: his wife Debbie Staples; his daughter Eccho Staples; his granddaughter Emilianna Staples; his mother-in-law Beverly "Rabbit" Vance; his siblings, Lemuel P., Roger, Carlton, Derrick Staples, Dorothy Iredu (Victor), Lena Woods, Shelia Brown (James) and Gwendolyn Martin (Brad); his siblings-in-law, Victoria Butler, Jackie Hardin (Roy), Delphene Price (Chris), Quay Vance, Jeff Vance (Michelle), Joel Vance (Sharon), Jerry Vance (Ellie) and Jerome Vance (Jackey); and his aunt Barbara "Chick" Estill Host. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
