He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Mahaffa and Pearl Mahaffa (Byford); his siblings, Shirley Ann Stone, Elsie Elizabeth Clowers and Coleman Mahaffa; his parents-in-law, Calvin "Sarg" and Frances Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Brown and Gregory Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Mahaffa of Tullahoma; and his sister Nora Daughtry of Dayton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.
