He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. E. W. and Dorothy Irlene Snapp Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Schoenrock Barnes; his daughters, Emily Barnes and Sarah Barnes Mock (Nathan); his brother Roger Barnes (Pat); and his stepmother Virginia Barnes.
