It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Richards III of Union City, Tennessee, born in Woodville, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Richards, Jr. and Myrtis Lucille Gaston Richards; his stepson Barry James; and his siblings, Dr. Lucille Moore, Rose Scott and Joe Thomas Richards.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Richards; his daughters, Karla Richards Williams of Morgan Hill, CA, Karen Richards of Morgan Hill, CA and Lisa Moser (Mark) of Emerald Hills, CA; and his stepchildren, Nancy Jo Yarbrough (Sonny) of Union City, Jenna Glasgow (Jim) of Union City and Dr. Bill James of Dyersburg. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
