He was predeceased by: his parents, David Burke and Isabella Burke; and his siblings, Barb Parramore, Elizabeth Caswell and Jim Burke.

He is survived by: his wife Debbe Burke; his sons, Jason Burke (Lauren) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Ryan Burke of Union City and Brandon Burke (Kait) of Ocean City, Maryland; his grandchildren, Blakely, Hadley, Cameron, Logan and Jack; his siblings, Ann Deiters, Carolyn Fenstad (Terry), Florence Smith (Larry), Gertrude Bushman (Denny), David and Irvin Burke; and his nephews, Doug Burke, Andy Bushman and Bobby Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (6959 Glynwood Rd, St Marys, OH 45885).
