With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Matheny of Union City, Tennessee, born in Martin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Matheny and Verna Matheny (Hill); his wife Donna Jo Cochran; his son Mike Matheny; his sisters, Edna Brewer and Nannie Mae Kellough; and his nephews, Steve Kellough and Carl Jesse Kellough.
He is survived by: his brother Lee Moses; his daughter-in-law Sharon Matheny of Antioch, TN; his grandsons, Markus Matheny (Erin Meeks) of Nashville and Thomas Matheny (Kajsa) of Nashville; and his sibling's children, James Brewer of Wickliffe, KY, Wesley Kellough of Martin, Randy Kellough of Jackson and Louise Gardner of Sherburne, NY..
