She was predeceased by : her parents, Douglas Blackley and Peggy Blackley (Moncier); her husband James Roy Mays; her son Randy Ransom; and her brother Bobby Blackley.

She is survived by : her daughters, Toni Ransom Holland (Jamie) of Nashville, TN and Peggy Mathenia (Mike) of Union City; her grandchildren, Josh Mathenia (Chelsea) of Greenback, TN, Kaycee Mathenia of Union City, Tra Holland (Desiree) of Medina and Lindsay Hood (Jesse) of Charolettsville, VA; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Mathenia, Lily Mathenia, Wyatt Mathenia of Greenback, TN, Pieper Holland, Hunter Holland and Jude Holland of Medina, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
