She was predeceased by: her parent Alfred Howell; her children, David Renfro, Rhonda Garrison and Sharon Steele; and her siblings, Bud Howell, Al Howell, Grace Nichols and Virginia Franklin.
She is survived by: her brother Darrell Hoffman; her parent Mary Howell (Godfrey); her spouse Lewis Renfro; her daughter Karen "Sue" of Nashville; and her son-in-law Roy Hayes of Nashville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and the spouse of one, Andrea and Charlie Brew, Rachael Garrison, Justin Steele, and Zachary Steele all of Nashville and Jeffery Renfro of North Carolina; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
