He was predeceased by: his parent Ray Layfette; and his brother James William Johnson. He is survived by: his parent Mildred Marcille Johnson (Krisher); his son Steven Phillip; his daughter-in-law Amy Johnson of Castle Rock, Colorado; and his grandson Shawn Johnson of Castle Rock.
