He was predeceased by : his parents, Louie Jones and Mary Hillard Jones; his brother Hack Jones; and his grandparents, Robert and Vanda Hillard.

He is survived by : his brothers, Lecil of Chestnut Ridge and Cecil Jones of Chestnut Ridge; his niece Rhonda Gilbert; and his great-niece Rihonna Gilbert. He is also survived by several other friends and relatives.
