He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Samuel McGinnis; his son Shawn; his daughter-in-law Stephenie McGinnis; his stepdaughter Joy Beeler (Chuck); his stepgrandchildren, Hunter of Washburn and Haven Beeler of Washburn; his mother Billie Faye Satterfield (Gordon) of Washburn; his siblings, Rick McGinnis (Cindy) of Washburn, Jerry "Peanut" McGinnis (Lori) of Summerville, Debbie Welch (Jerry) of Bean Station and Pam Hefner (Ray) of Washburn; and his close friend Judy Cozine of Bulls Gap. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
