He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Crook Holmes; his grandparents, J. C. "Popcorn", Reba Holmes, Hurley and Viola Crook; the mother of his children Patricia Holmes; his sister Gayle Holmes; and his sibling's children, Jared Holmes and Mary Holmes.
He is survived by: his father Shep Holmes (Shirley); his children, Katrina Breedlove (John) and Shane Holmes (Victoria); his grandchildren, Hannah Stewart (Evan), Elly Breedlove and Hailey Holmes; and his siblings, Loretta Cline (Ricky), Jamie Holmes (Angie) and Terry Holmes (Shelley).
In lieu of flowers, Rickie requested donations be made to Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Donations can be made at Woodard Funeral Home.
