He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford Leon and Ida Bell Martin (Ashworth); and his siblings, Hershal West, Henry Frank West and Maxie Jean Kittrell (West).

He is survived by : his son Jesse Martin of Dickson, TN.; and his brother Melvin Troy Martin of College Grove. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews; Brothers and Sisters - In - Law's; Uncles and Aunts; along with four grandchildren.
