She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burgess and Nelly McCarley Burgess; and her sister Donna. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Mathis of White Bluff, TN; her sons, Scott Mathis and Brian Mathis of White Bluff, TN; her siblings, Doug Clower of Vista, CA and Jimmie Burgess of Dickson, TN; and her grandchild Cameron Jordan.
