With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Lawson McDaniel in White House, Tennessee, born in Alcoa, Tennessee, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Dell Lawson and Ernestine Lawson (Sanders); her husband Starling McDaniel; her son David Paul McDaniel; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Lawson and Betty Lawson.

She is survived by : her children, Marcia Jervis (Craig), Joyce McDaniel, Raymond McDaniel (Lisa) and Lynn McDaniel (Chandra); her grandsons, Cory, Cole, Jacob and Conner McDaniel; her great grandchildren, Carson, Hayden, Kennedy and Cayson McDaniel; and her siblings, Chan Lawson, Raymond "Dell" Lawson (Martha), Jack Lawson (Joyce), Don Lawson (Alisa) and Pat Fuller (Gary).
