Jean Briley Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Briley; and her parents, Charles Jernigan and Gladys Jernigan. She is survived by: her son Hal Briley (Connie) of Portland; her grandchildren, Beth Clifton (Jerran) of Gallatin, Cayla Shrum (Dakota) of Portland and Sara Geery (T. J.) of Portland; her great grandchildren, Blake Wiseman, Austyn Shrum and Fallon Geery; her sister Kay Hackett (Johnny) of Gallatin; her sister-in-law Audrey Jernigan of Portland; her daughter-in-law Tab (Cindy Briley); and her brother Joe Jernigan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Portland Church of Christ (200 N Russell St, Portland, TN 37148).
