She was predeceased by : her husband James Briscoe Cole Sr.; her son Jason Cole; her grandson James Briscoe Cole III; her parents, Homer Griffin and Dorothy Griffin; and her siblings, Roy Griffin and Ella Carpenter.
She is survived by : her son James Cole; her grandchildren, Roy Cole and Laura Beth Cole; her sister Wanda Sue Henderson; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Hubbard (Ronald), Willie Mae Amos and Alfred Cole (Ophene). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
