He was predeceased by: his mother Cecilia Smith Lockhart. He is survived by: his father James Harold; his siblings, Brenda Lee Olters, Bill and David Lockart; his wife Renita Frizzell Lockhart; his children, Jesse Lee Lockhart (Khristie Thomas), Michael Hudson (Kelsie Rogers), Megan Lockhart Meeks (Daniel Grayson) and Shana Rooks (Hunter); and his grandchildren, Carden, Cye, Nora, Zaiden, Hudson, Emilia, Lillian, Kaiden and Eli. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at the Griffiths Creek Cemetery.
