He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hubert Dempsey and Jessie White Dempsey; his son James Bary Dempsey; his siblings, Corrine Dempsey, Aline "Runt" Dempsey, Imogene Durham, Jerry Dempsey and Bob Dempsey; his wife Pat Tate Dempsey; his sons, Darrel Dempsey and Eric Dempsey (Shannon); his granddaughter Briley Dempsey; his brother Bill Dempsey; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Dempsey and Billie Dempsey.
