She is survived by : her daughter Diane Gipson (Mickey) of Winchester; her sister Sylvia Patricia Briggs of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Hannah Gipson and Grant Gipson (Maggie).

A favorite charity of Emma Jean's was St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
