She was predeceased by: her father John Aubrey; her siblings, Jack Statum, Delores Crabtree, Geneva Wooten and Jimmie Statum; and her grandsons, Michael Mayes and Mitchell Mayes.
She is survived by: her mother Myrtle Vivian Statum (Weaver); her children, Eddie Mayes (Joyce), Margie Relford (Bud), Dean Mayes (Karen), Amy Lowhorn (Rick) and Bob Mayes (Judy); and her close friend Dana Long. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
