With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Evon Hice Syler of Winchester, Tennessee, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Hice and Leehela Hice; and her siblings, Otis "Doc" Hice, Jewel Edward Hice, Virgie M. Hice, Elsie H. Hice, Ola Thomas Hice, Lloyd Junior Hice, Gilbert Hice, Nannie Lee Hice Fulmer, Mildred Hice Williams, Dorothy Hice, Kenneth Hice, Lovine Hice Holland and Shelby Jean Hice.

She is survived by : her husband James Edd Syler; her children, Kent Syler (Lynell) of Murfreesboro and Lisa Hatchett (Nelson) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Kyle Hatchett (Diana), Liala Syler, Melissa Hatchett and Emily Syler; and her great grandchild Elsie Ruth Hatchett.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Franklin Memorial Gardens (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398).
