He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Strunk and Mary Lee Buttram Strunk; his wife Mae Helen Strunk; his daughter Linda Lambert; his siblings, R. V. Strunk, J. C. Strunk and Rosa Geraldine Strunk; his grandson Joey Christian; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Alene Phelps (Delta Tucker).
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Elaine Higginbotham (Mike) of Huntsville, Brandi Jean Wilson (Cory) of Winfield, Brenda Chambers (Roger) of Huntsville and Arnold Wade Strunk, Jr. (Tammy) of Texas; and his sister Zelma Lee Jeffers (Donald). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
