He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Maxey and Nora Bell Stephens Maxey; his wife Shirley Jo Maxey; his granddaughter Stephanie Moriah Anderson; and his siblings, Hoyle, Hoyt, Edna, Edgar, Opal, Odell, Cleade, Tony, Zona, Imagene, Shirley, Kenny, Helen, Luster, John, Flonnie, Hazel and Hurstle.
He is survived by : his children, Timothy Maxey (Kimberly), Tony Maxey, Tina Strunk (Mike) and Tonya Maxey; his grandchildren, Raven (Robby), Nick, Gabriel, McKenzie, Brice (Megan), Destiny, Cassidy and Jordan; his great grandchild Brantlee; and his sisters, Frona Sue Bryant and Addelene Gregory. He is also survived by family members and friends.
