He is survived by: his wife Janet Thomsen; his children, Kai Thomsen, Kamma Kondrad (Barry), Jill LeRoy and Lynn Tevis (Dave); his sisters, Lillian Odders and Kamma Johnson; his grandchildren, Kai Hagren, Dana Hagren, Nathan LeRoy (Kristyn), Margaret Hutchens (Michael) and Stephan Peterson (Kiana); his great grandchildren, Kelly, Kia, Kade, Kayla, Kai and Logan; and his sister-in-law Myrna Olesen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
