He was predeceased by : his parents, Jordan Outland and Gertrude Knight Outland; and his siblings, Hubert Outland, John Outland, Bubbie Outland, Elmo Outland, Roy Knight, Frances Herndon, Ruth Armstrong and Willa Mae Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
