She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Stevenson and Grace Merkert Stevenson; her son Steve W. Forgay; her former husband Jack Forgay; and her sister Vernelle Bishop.
She is survived by: her husband Billy F. Sheid of Abilene, TX; her daughter Melody Forgay Egger of Abilene, TX; her daughter-in-law Patricia Forgay of Lubbock, TX; her stepson Michael Sheid of Arlington, TX; her grandchildren, Marchelle Moore of Shallowater, Amy E. Yoder (Mike) of Navarre, FL and Christina Forgay of Lubbock, TX; and her stepgrandsons, Tanner Sheid and Matthew Sheid. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memories Cemetery (2000 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
