She was predeceased by : her parents, William Charles and Stella Norris (Wheeler); her husband Charles Bright, Jr.; and her siblings, Alice Norris and Steve Norris.

She is survived by : her son Richard Dale Sparks; her daughter-in-law Teri Sparks of Arlington; her daughter Angela Howell; her son-in-law Kevin Howell of Abilene; her grandchildren, Jeremy, McKinzie, Megan Sparks, Justin and Jon Howell; her granddaughter-in-law Rachel Howell; and her great grandchildren, Davien Gomez and Ira Howell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice of the giver.
