She was predeceased by: her parents, Asuncion "Jane" Salazar and Gregorio "Grady" Salazar; her siblings, Greg, Sesario "Chito" Salazar and Olga Salazar; her sister-in-law Shelia; and her nephew Arrin Salazar.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Hancock; her daughter Kristi (James Broshears); her grandchildren, Wyntir Albright (Brayden Albright), Gretchen Stubblefield and Caleb Broshears; her great grandchild Charlie Albright; and her siblings, Wallie Salazar (Greta Salazar) and Olga Babbin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home (505 NW 5th St, Hamlin, TX 79520). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (837 Jeanette St, Abilene, TX 79602). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Aspermont Cemetery.
