She is survived by: her brother Billy Howard Ivey; her children, Mary Smith (Truitt), Margarett Barbee (Randy) and Jimmy Carter (Carra); her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Lindsey), Josh Smith (Christie), Sarah Morris (Jeremy), Andrew Smith, Tommy Smith, Michael Barbee (Kara R.), Dustin Barbee (Kara L.), Cooper Barbee (Misti), Davis Carter (Ashley) and Jimmy Jake Carter (Cassidy); and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Eli, Jude, Owen, Gage, Maisie, Grayson, Griffyn, Brantlee, Aubree, Claire, Wyatt, Mary Evelyn, Everett, Jackson and Dani.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home (5701 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Central Cemetery.
