He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornie VerSteeg and Allie VerSteeg (Brink); and his former wife Arla. He is survived by: his son David Wayne (Patricia) of Mitchell, SD; his wife Janelle Cole; his daughter Brenda Kaser of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Catherine VerSteeg of Mitchell, John VerSteeg (Britney) of Volga, SD and Jennifer Kaser of Omaha, NE.; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Vanden Hoek and Lloyd Vanden Hoek.
