He was predeceased by : his parents, George Levi Frances and Ocie Vida Beggs Brown. He is survived by : his former life partner Shirley Ann Whitten; his wife Shirley Brown of Alba; his children, Franklin Brown of McKinney, Joseph Brown (Dawn) of Alba, Mickie Fields of Quitman and Courtney Garner (Chris) of Point; and his grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Wylie, Caiden, Hailey, Chelsie, Brittni, John, Tristen, Ethan, Sissy (Aryanne), Raylee and Collin. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
