She was predeceased by : her parents, Belton Lee and Dorothy Marie Smith Powell; and her husbands, Elmer Dwight Hurst and James Martin Tyson. She is survived by : her sons, Dennis Hurst (Janet) of Mineola and Bryan Hurst (Mcxie) of Mineola; and her brother Walter Lee Powell (Alice) of South Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
