It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Irene Lewers of Alba, Texas, born in Lindale, Texas, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Everett and Annie Irene Conway Campbell; her husband Louis "Stack" Lewers; her children, Edward "Little Stack" Lewers and Martha Henley; her brothers, Otha Campbell, Junior Campbell, Joe Campbell and Leroy Campbell; her great grandchild Louie Lewers; and her son-in-law Ben Smith.

She is survived by : her daughters, Glenda Ross (Phillip) of Sulphur Springs and Debora Smith of Alba; and her siblings, Andreil Eads of Garland, Sandra Liles of Emory, DaRue Wilson (Ray) of Emory and Patricia Watson (Danny) of Emory. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
