He was predeceased by : his son Alan Jay Oden; his parents, TJ Oden and Winnie Rose Oden; his parents-in-law, Jon and LaVoy McNeill; and his siblings-in-law, Dickie Jon McNeill, Zane McNeill, Bill Jackson, Kent McNeill, Flent McNeill and Charlotte Morrison McNeill.
He is survived by : his wife Jan McNeill Oden; his children, Sarah Oden Fite (Matthew) of Weatherford, Melissa Oden Williams (Robert) of Wichita Falls, Thomas Oden of Abilene, James Oden (Cindy) of Hamlin and Dawson Oden of Albany, Texas; his siblings, Terry Oden (Marilyn), Larry Oden, Lana Oden Goodman and Kathy Oden Jackson; his sisters-in-law, Jill McNeill McClellan (Les) of Midland, Sissy Presley of Albany, Sharon McWhirter of Wingate, Mary Beth Harris of Lubbock and Cheryl Grenwelge-Baur of College Station, Texas; and his close friends, Mike Warren of Stoney Creek and Richard Wilson of Albany, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one new great-grand child; 21 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews, 3 great-great nieces and nephews; many loved cousins.
