She was predeceased by : her parents, Trinidad Jasso and Maria Jasso. She is survived by : her husband Evaristo R. Castillo, Sr.; her children, Evaristo R. Castillo, Jr., Trinidad J. Castillo (Vickie) and Lisa Castillo (Michelle); and her brothers, Uvaldo Jasso (Amelia) and Trinidad Jasso (Paula).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. (600 S Wright St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332).
