She is survived by: her children, Dora Chavarria (Manuel), Elva Chavez (Miguel Garcia), Victor Madrigal (Flor), Magda Resendez (Johnny), Magaly "Maggie" Cavazos (George) and Linda Villarreal (Jason); and her siblings, Maria De Jesus Peña, Enede Garza and Amalio Garza (Cuate).

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Treviño Funeral Home (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Collins Cemetery.
