He is survived by: his children, Luis Ricardo "Rick" Bernal, III of Jesus Rene, Zerek Bernal (Ianhary), Liam Bernal and Kelly Bernal; his grandchildren, Luis Ricardo IV and Amor Bernal; his parents, Luis Bernal and Vilma Bernal; and his brothers, Orlando Rene Bernal (Helen) and Gabriel Bernal (Amy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calendar St Joseph Catholic Church- Alice (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332).
