He is survived by : his close friend Cecilia Casarez; his children, Guadalupe Matias (Monica Rosales), Irma Linda Elizondo, Mona Lisa Garcia Rosales (Roel) and Kimberly Ann Rosales (Guadalupe Rodriguez); and his brothers, Roberto Silva, Luis Silva (Cole), Rodolfo Silva (Evangelina) and Alfonso Silva (Guadalupe). He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

“Matias is my biological father that no one knew or knew but did not want to accept It’s a very sad and delicate day for me personally not really knowing my father as an infant or adult. I did grow up learning I had a sister Mona Lisa that I also never met. I hope to meet my siblings that I never had the opportunity to meet.
