She was predeceased by: her son Frank Jacob Martinez; her parents, Tiburcio Acosta and Hermina Acosta; and her siblings, Antonio Acosta, Tiburcio Acosta, Jr. and Teresa Acosta.
She is survived by: her sons, Ruben Ervey Martinez (Rosa Maria Martinez) and Mark Adam Martinez (Rosie Webster Martinez); her grandchildren, Raven Martinez, Sienna Martinez and Alan Granados; and her siblings, Saul Acosta (Rita Acosta) and Abigail Acosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As a member of the Catholic Daughters organization, Catarina embodied the ideals of charity and service, making a significant difference in her community.
