She was predeceased by: her parent Inza Ethel Dixon Brooks; her husband James Carlton Curry; her brother Billy Brooks; and her grandson Ben Overby. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Jo Curry of Alto, Sherry Curry Overby (Tom) of Maryland and Joni Curry Barone (Race) of Lindale; her brother Joe Brooks of Alto; her sister-in-law Linda Brooks of Alto; her grandchildren, Emily, Jennifer, Jayna and Trey; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Harper, Lily, Baily, Nicholas, Roland, Rosalene and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campground Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Lynches Chapel Cemetery.
