He was predeceased by: his father Tommy W. Holmes; and his brother Keith Holmes. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Lonsdale Cornish; his wife Crystal Day; his daughter Cassidy; his son-in-law Chad Neal of Alvarado; his grandson Bishop Neal; and his siblings, Brigeen Crisp of Grandview and Tommy Holmes (Shelli) of Joplin, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenbriar Baptist Church (7037 County Rd 313, Alvarado, TX 76009).
