Harold Eugene Clampitt-McGar Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 76, Harold Eugene Clampitt-McGar of Alvarado, Texas, born in Denton, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Farmer (Archie Farmer Jr) of Paris, TX, James Harold McGar (Jana McGar) of Denton, TX, Danny Joe Clampitt (Jessica Clampitt) of Alvarado, TX and Kristopher Harold McGar (Cheryl McGar) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Archie Farmer III, Taylor Clark, Noah McGar, Elizabeth Vancil, Abigayle Farmer of Brooke, DJ Clampitt, Savanna Vasquez, Sierra Gates and Marshall Miller. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201).
