It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae McLoughlin of Alvin, Texas, born in Big Sandy, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Head and Lela Head; and her husband Alvin McLoughlin. She is survived by: her sister Bonnie Strickland of San Antonio; her sibling's children, Brenda McLoughlin Balsano of Abilene, Terri McLoughlin Jones of Mary Esther and Jerry McLoughlin (Necia) of Desoto, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jake McKewin of Ft. Collins, Stephanie Jones of Mary Esther and Rachel Jones of Berkeley, California. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
She delivered for many years for Meals on Wheels and was an active volunteer for the RSVP program.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Meals on Wheels in honor of Betty.
