He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Barajas and Inez Barajas; and his siblings, Rachel Barajas, Linda Barajas, Donato Barajas Jr. and Marcos Barajas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sara Ramirez (Frank), Rosa Perez (Francisco), Mary Pina (Amado), Lou Ann Amador (Rudy), Moses Barajas (Areceli), David Barajas (Gloria), Tim Barajas, Tony Barajas (Beatrice) and John Barajas; his sisters-in-law, Sara Barjas and Mildred Barajas; his cousin Roy Mendoza; his close friend Frankie Borjas; and his pet Roscoe. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the Open Door Church (615 W Sealy St, Alvin, TX 77511). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511).
Jinks worked as a dispatcher at Bell Bottom Foundation in Pearland, Texas, for many years where he retired from.
