With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Herman Garza Jr. of Alvin, Texas, born in Harlingen, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Herman left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Garza; his parents, Herman Garza and Simona Garza; his grandchild L. J. Garza; and his great grandchild Jaxon Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Rodriguez (Mario), Monica Deleon (John), Letty Alaniz (Leo), Eva Garza, Talita Oliveros (Rigo), John Garcia (Mary), Herman Garza, III (Anabel) and Andy Garza (Danica); and his siblings, Herlinda Garza (Richard), Alicia Garza and Hernan Garza (Chata). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511).
