He was predeceased by: his former wife Lupe Cagle; his sons, Ricky John Cagle, Kenneth Wade Cagle and Glen Cagle; his parents, Johny Cagle and Opal Cagle Sr.; and his siblings, Betty Gattis (Sonny), Pat Towrey (JD), Harry Cagle (Chralene) and William Cagle.

He is survived by: his wife Jacquelin Cagle; his daughters, Kathy Cisneros (John), Carol Diaz-DeLeon (Sam), Tara Cagle and Kimberly Block; his stepdaughters, Theresa Schlomer and Christina Torres (Darryl); his sons, Gary Cagle (Rebecca), Chris Cagle (Sandra) and Eric Salinas (Jovita); his stepsons, James Schlomer III and Richard Schlomer (Cathy); his grandchildren, Eric, Lisa Marie (Reese), Paige, Tiffany, Gary, Gavin, Gage, Jessica, Sam, Jestine Jaylah, Dominic, Cameron, Cesalie of Jeremy, JT and Jake; and his stepgrandchildren, Chris, Joey, Cassidy, Savannah, Cody and Jessica. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, extended family.
