He is survived by: his wife Leonora; his children, Elizabeth Montgomery (Jeff), Kathryn Figueroa (Rene) and John Michael Corona; and his grandchildren, Victoria (Kevin), Alexis, Lily, Anna, Rene Jr. and Kevin.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
