He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dominga Alaniz and Pedro Manuel Esparza; his step-father Guadalupe Solis Sr.; his wife Patricia Joyce Myers; his step-son Franklin Myers; his siblings, Jose Oscar Esparza (Joe), Guadalupe Solis, Jr., Joel Soliz Sr., Juan Hector Solis Sr., Lilialdo Esparza (Nhieu) of Katy, Texas, Maria Sutton (Bobby) of League City and Belinda Hill (Brandon) of Texas City, Texas; his nephew Michael Flynn Jr.; his niece Lisa Marie Solis; his son Ruben Esparza Jr. (Meagan); and his grandchildren, Hunter and Scout of Sealy, Texas.
